Location

I love photographing in the outdoors, nature is beautiful. Fitton Green Natural Area in Corvallis, Oregon, has become my favorite spot to photograph.

When a client asks for suggestions on locations within the Corvallis area and depending on what they are looking for as far as background, Fitton Green is my number #1 suggestion.

It's always an adventure for me to shoot at this location; the panorama view, the breeze, the mountains, and the golden hour at Fitton Green is a breathtaking experience. It is a short hike to get to the top, I'd say it's approximately less than a half mile. I'd recommend being prepared because some evenings during the summer can be slightly windy and a little chilly. There is a little bit of traffic, don't worry it's just hikers, runners, and other photographers hiking up. I'm telling you it's a popular area during the summer.

Below is some of my work captured at Fitton Green. The photos I provide are a good reference to give you an idea of what to expect throughout the year. It's not always sunny during spring, sometimes it's partly cloudy, and it's a little sunny towards the end of spring. I would suggest to check the weather as it can be unpredictable. The first couple of photos at the top of the gallery were taken between August-September and October. Lastly, I have a couple of seniors, the young man's photos were taken in June, and the young lady's were in September. These photographs are good references to give you an idea of what to expect during that time of the year.

When it comes to photography locations, I like to consider my clients, therefore I ask them if there is a specific background or location, because I believe it adds a meaningful value to their photographs that they will cherish their whole life.
